The PYXIS CINE BASEPLATE is designed specifically for the Blackmagic Design PYXIS 12K and 6K cameras. It adds an ARRI-compatible rosette on the left side for handle attachment, along with twelve 1/4”-20 mounting points on the base. When paired with the PYXIS RS CINEPLATE, it enables dual-sided handle support—ideal for balanced handheld setups.
CNC-machined from sandblasted and anodised 7075 aluminium, the baseplate maintains the same weight as standard 6061 aluminium while being 1.7 to 2 times stronger—ensuring durability without compromising portability. The PYXIS CINE BASEPLATE is engineered to be lightweight, robust, and visually aligned with Blackmagic Design’s signature aesthetic.
Additional M4 mounting holes on the front surface provide flexible accessory options.
